Alpine Country Club

Alpine Country Club, located in Western Cranston, is one of Rhode Island's premier country clubs in the state.

The Challenge
In the winter of 2008, Alpine was down more than 100 members, primarily due to the economic recession. 

The club was in financial distress and needed serious intervention to avoid catastrophic ramifications.

The Plan

Strategic Planning
We worked very closely with the board of directors and the marketing committee to prepare a multi tiered marketing strategy to attract new members. The board approved a new member incentive and our goal was to communicate the availability of the program to the public.

Direct Mail
We prepared a postcard for direct mailing purposes, that was targeted to a specific demographic within a certain radius of the club.

Website Rejuvenation
We worked with the club's web design firm to develop new copy, pages and content for the website.

Results
Within a few months, Alpine attracted more than 80 new members for the 2009 golfing season.
